You May Have Missed: Part 1 - A Trip to WA

We took a quick trip to Washington over D's break between trimesters. We were so busy checking out the Tri Cities and Vancouver trying to decide where life is going to take us after graduation, that we didn't get many fun pictures to share. (We still have no idea.) But here is what we did get.

We got to go watch my little bro Nathan at his track meet. It was RIDICULOUSLY COLD because we were near the base of Mt. Adams and the wind was blowing straight off of it. It was really beautiful though. You can see why we miss the mountains.

We had Emery snuggly, triple-wrapped to keep her warm (so jealous) while we watched Nathan run and pole vault. He was quite impressive. Good luck at districts bro...hope everything is 'freshy fresh.' ;)

My mom also had me take new portraits of Nathan and my youngest brother Devin. It was freezing that day too so we tried to take them super quick. I think they look purdy handsome... as brothers go anyway. :)

Of course grandma had her opinion about how Em needs to be on solid foods already and grandpa was eager to please by continually letting her gnaw on his pizza crust! Oh brother. It was pretty hilarious how badly she slimed it. And don't worry 'rents, the solids are coming next week.

Not pictured, but thoroughly enjoyed: bowling with my bro Steven and friend Candice, kicking my brothers' butts at Mario, celebrating Dev's birthday, eating Chinese with Steven, grandma showing Em off at church, joining Nathan and his super cute prom date for dinner and even Mario Kart when the dancing got too dirty for their taste (I so admire my little bro!), joining in on the huge practical joke of hiding the fact that Nathan was even going to prom from my mother, and lots of laughter and Monopoly as usual.

Hey fam, I hope you enjoyed it as much as we did because Em and I could be movin' in before you know it! Prepare yourselves...
