I think Emery was born to travel, she does it so well. I mean, she had her first plane ride before she was a month old and did awesome. At five months we took her to Chicago on her first road trip and she did just as awesome.David had a weekend of seminars so Em and I tagged along. PLUS one of our best friends, Becca, met us there and we had super fun all girls days. Sadly I was a lame-o picture taker and didn't get much of anything beyond the hotel, but HEY! It was after all her first hotel stay and her fifth-month birthday. Here we are at the hotel...and of course I have to teach her how to take the classic self-shot while she is young. :)
She was just getting the hang of sitting. (Which she is now a champion at BTW.)
Here she is with pig for her monthly shot. Happy five months little one! (Almost a month ago now.) You keep right on getting chub-chubbier.

A purchase I should be regretting because we are dirt broke poor, but I'm not because it was my Christmas money and besides that, it is FREAKIN' sweet. Okay, now I feel better.
