Valerie has been having some of the real joys of pregnancy lately... swollen ankles, hip pain, carpal tunnel, etc. All definitely tons of fun, but none more so than the tingly, numbing, painful sensation that she gets when the PCT (prego carpal tunnel) acts up. We tried a few different remedies, but without too much success. After a few relatively sleepless nights (with the acception of her arms getting a lot of sleep) we were delving into some complementary and alternative solutions. For the past five months, I've been taking an acupuncture class at school, and we decided it was about time to put it to some use. Only took a little issue like losing sleep to convince her to finally let me stick metal objects into her skin. Here's the result:

We're not too sure if it worked, considering the combination of about twenty other things we tried on the same day. This attempt made for the funnest picture.

I went through the sore wrists too. It's such a pain. But it's almost over! :) I hope you post pictures quickly after the baby is born! Do you have any names yet? PS the pregnancy pics are so cute!
I bet Robert wishes I was as brave as Val. But I did manage to let him stick 2 needles in my neck today! YIKES!
