Workin' Hard for the Money

David worked hard all through chiropractic school, but it's nothing compared to how hard he has been working since he got done. Every day, many nights and every weekend he is busy doing what he can to market, meet people and get involved in the community. Not to say he hasn't had fun doing some of it... especially when it meant mandatory attendance on the sidelines of football games. Yeah, real tough. He was the team chiropractor/trainer for the Dixie Rebels, the minor league football team in STG. Though he is known by them simply as "Doc."

What? You can't see him in this picture? Even though he placed himself so prominently behind, oh I don't know, EVERYONE! If you look hard on the left side you can see him behind the last guy. By him I mean his leg and side of his face. Dork. Don't know why he didn't just step all the way around to the end.

ANYWAY...

Their season wrapped up on Saturday night with an undefeated season and a repeat championship. (If you really want you can read more about the details here.)

David saw some gnarly injuries, made a lot of friends and loved every minute of it. We can't go anywhere in STG without hearing "Doc! How's it going?" or something of the sorts. In his own words "Hey if I got nothing else out of it, at least I have a ton of Polynesian friends now." Okay D... whatever that means!

I'm just glad that with all the butt busting he's been doing, at least some of it has been fun. Em and I appreciate all the hard work you do babe. Keep it up!
