Vegas, Baby!

Being half done with the D.C. program, we have been thinking about possible places that we could go after graduation. Besides returning to Eastern Idaho, another possible location that we are pondering is St.George, Utah. So we decided to take some time while I'm on break to check the area out. We flew into Las Vegas and made it a short vacation. It took a little planning, but we were able to rob three casinos at one time and won three hundred thousand counting cards at Blackjack. But what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas (I just referenced three different Las Vegas based movies). Anywho, we saw the sites- the fountains at the Bellagio, the shark reef at Mandalay Bay, took in some acts at Circus Circus, the canals at the Venetian. Las Vegas is truly an entertainment town, but we were over it pretty fast.

We also spent a day in St.George where I shadowed a couple of docs. It was great being back west, seeing mountains, avoiding sticky humidity, and having a grid system to help us navigate. The shadowing was a good experience, and we now have a little more of a feel for the place that we are considering setting up in. Still I'm only half done so that decision will be made another day. At the very least. this trip gave us a chance get out of town and enjoy ourselves before I start school again next week.
