Cold Weather

Cold weather in Missouri is completely different from Idaho. The temperature hasn't dropped below thirty even though it's November, and there hasn't been a sign of snow. However, the cold is definitely penetrating, even Zoe needs a little help to stay warm. While we were in Idaho, winter was awesome. Not so much driving or freezing in subzero temperatures, but the holidays, hot chocolate, and winter activities. Today I was especially homesick for snowboarding at Grand Targhee. The reason for this was a discussion I had at school about resorts and the quality of snow. It made me miss the days of flying through waist deep powder, hopping off ledges and hitting jumps. So I put a link to the conditions feed at the resort on the blog. I don't know if it is torturing myself or just reminiscing, but hopefully I'm not the only one feeling a little homesick for mountains.
