Just a preface to my first post on this blog thingy: In order to feel like a contributing member of the "'Saki" family, I told Valerie that I would write a post. Unfortunately, my limited world view only contains stuff pertaining to food, sports, music, and chiropractic - basically in that order. So my inaugural post relates our experience at our very first professional hockey game. I got lucky at school and won a pair of Blues tickets in a raffle. So we drove downtown to view the Blues open their season against the Carolina Hurricanes. The Blues won 5-2 and we got to see a bunch of sweet hockey action, as well as a wicked slap shot that left a crack in the glass. We left the game definite fans of watching live hockey and can't wait to go to another.
