You might have heard that I went blind for a while and stuff. True story. Actually I still am basically blind in my right eye, but I'm at least functioning now. (At some point I might explain that whole catastrophe.) Now that life is getting back to normal, I'm spending extra time enjoying the normalcy and just being thankful. Especially for this little tyke who I missed a whole ton when I couldn't take care of her... or even see her.
She is ridiculously awesome, as she often reminds me. She even changed the lyrics of one of her favorite Elmo songs today. Normal lyrics: "I'll keep getting stronger." Em's new lyrics: "I'll keep getting awesome." Yeah ya will kid. I can't believe that in a couple of short weeks she'll be two. Time flies when your being blind... or when you're drugged a LOT. Now who's changing lyrics? :)
